Field trip to the Bay of Mali Ston

Visit to "Mareco" in Neum (BIH) - Sewage system of the Bay of Mali Ston - Mr Andrija Kresic

The bay is a unique area known as one of the best for seashell farms due to the water quality. But there exist development pressures, too. Presentation will focus on the development of the sewage system for the settlements around the bay in order to guarantee for the good quality of water, esential for the seashell farming. A good case of a cross-border project.

Ecological Properties of Mali Ston Bay

Mariculture in Mali Ston Bay

Presentation of issues related to aquaculture, management of natural resources of the bay, development of seashell farming of the region, problems, environmental concerns and alike. Visit of a seashell farm.

Visit to the town of Ston - Ms Branka Martinovic

Issues related to the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, general overview of the development/environment problems, sightseeing of the town.
