Getting to
Participants are kindly requested to make their own arrangements for transfer to and from the hotel.
From the airport
Zagreb Airport "Pleso" is located 18 km from the centre of the city, or 20-25 minutes by bus.We recommend taking a taxi (taxi fare to the hotel is about 180-230 kuna ~ 25-32 €). You may also use the Croatia Airlines shuttle bus to the main bus station (about 20 minutes ride, 35 kuna per ticket ~ 5 €). Buses run at half-hour intervals for most of the day. Please, note that public transportation fares are only payable in Croatian kuna (KN), so it is advisable to change some money at the airport.
From the main bus station
You can either take a taxi (75-90 kuna ~ 10-12 €) or tram number 6 to the Ban J. Jelačić square: about 10-minute ride (10 kuna per ticket ~ 1.4 €).Tram tickets are bought at news stands.
From the central railway station
The main railway station is located in the very centre of the city (Kralja Tomislava Square 12, a ten minute walk from the capital's main square and the "Dubrovnik" Hotel). You can take a taxi (about 75 kuna ~ 10 €) or tram number 6 or 13 which you'll find on the north side of the station, to the Ban J. Jelačić square (two tram stops away, 10 kuna per ticket ~ 1.4 €).
Car
If you are arriving by car, hotel parking is available, on Praška street, about 100m from the hotel. Make sure to reserve your parking place in advance. The price of parking is 100 kuna/day weekdays and 80 kuna/day on weekends (~ 14 and 11 €, respectivelly).- Arriving from Rijeka/Split/Karlovac: Highway A1-3 - Jadranska avenija – follow the direction "Zagreb Centar"
- Arriving from Hungary/Varaždin: Road A3, follow the directions "Zagreb Centar"
- Arriving from Belgrade/Sarajevo/Slavonski Brod: Highway A4 - Slavonska avenija – follow the directions "Zagreb Centar"
- Arriving from Graz/ Maribor/Krapina: Highway A1, follow the directions "Zagreb Zapad" and then "Zagreb Centar"
